Our equipment loan closet is named “Brian’s Locker” in memory of Brian Schnurstein who lost his battle with ALS in May 2015. The Susan Mast ALS Foundation is proud of its partnership with the Brian Schnurstein Memorial Foundation which allows us to better provide equipment to ALS patients living in West Michigan.
Durable Medical Equipment & Miscellaneous Supplies Loan Closet
The Susan Mast ALS Foundation offers a variety of new and used durable medical equipment for persons with ALS living in West Michigan.
If your physician, occupational or physical therapist suggest a certain medical equipment that would assist you and your insurance does not cover the cost, our foundation may be able to assist.
Some of the types of items available:
Mobility aids: walkers, wheelchairs
Bathroom items: raised toilet seats, commodes, shower chairs, bath benches, wall grips
Transfer boards; pivot discs
Over-bed tables
Threshold ramps (to be used for special occasions, on a temporary basis)
