PURPOSE

Scott Matzka and the Susan Mast ALS Foundation have partnered together to create the MyTurn Project Fund. The purpose of the fund is to assist ALS families in West Michigan with the cost of ramps.

MYTURN GRANTS

The Susan Mast ALS Foundation’s MyTurn Project partnered with Carelinc Medical to provide modular ramps to ALS families who are in need of assistance. These ramps are specially designed to accommodate the unique mobility challenges faced by individuals living with ALS. By offering these repurposable modular ramps, we aim to enhance the accessibility and independence of ALS families, enabling them to navigate their homes more easily. This partnership is a testament to the commitment of both organizations to support and empower those impacted by ALS. Together, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families facing the challenges of ALS.

FUNDING

We strive to assist each applicant to the best of our ability. The amount requested may be fully or partially reimbursed, based on need and available resources. The average grant awarded is between $500 – $2,000. If the grant is approved, the Susan Mast ALS Foundation will pay Carelinc directly. This is a one-time grant per ALS family. Once the ramp is no longer needed, the ramp will be uninstalled and returned to the Susan Mast ALS Foundation.
